Years have passed by since I first bought Riri and now Im not sure if its gone bad but it smells kinda like Simply Pink Pink Sugar. RiRi is nothing near generic for me,honestly I find it pleasant,well made and beyond celeb quality as most of Rihanna's other fragrances. The rum/vanilla/benzoin combo sounds very interesting and hopefully stays boozy-sweet, despite the mid-note floral arrangement. The sillage and projection are excellent, especially the suede and plum notes, with vanilla close behind. By failed I mean many things: Either turned sour, were way too sweet and sickly, made me feel like a 'turn back time' wanna be, or simply bored me silly.

This fruity-floral fragrance opens with the fresh and sweet notes of guava, pear and mandarin before melting into the heart notes of gardenia, jasmine and orange blossom. com perfumes magazine - All Rights Reserved - do not copy anything without prior written permission. I smells a lot like Pink Chiffon by bath and body works but more tropical and boozy because of the added Passion fruit and Rum. Half an hour it was still going strong on a spot where there is no pulse point, which almost never happens to me. Reminds me of happy times when I was 18 with not a care in the world, dolled up looking gorgeous in a rum bar sipping vanilla rum with an umbrella in it!

Not that its a bad fragrance but some of Rihanna perfumes that I've smelled are really original so I was expecting something interesting based on the notes listed. This smells like Haagen Dazs rum raisin ice cream and a hint of Luster's Pink Lotion, the pink lotion moms used to do their little girls hair back in the day. I never go for sweet scents, i never go for celeb scents either but I tried this and was quite surprised how it stands out. I like the formulation of RiRi very much, so I would love to try a more super-concentrated version that you dab on, which would last till the next morning. Final Rating: 9/10 – Almost a perfect score from me, this fragrance has a smell to die for and its bottle looks elegant, the only thing that lets it down is its weak longevity.
