The scenes are brief and some die-hard Tangled fans may not like the details surrounding the events, but at least the major story elements remain in place. I enjoyed the first book in this series (Mother's Day Out) very much and looked forward to this sequel. Claire essentially lives in hiding because her face was plastered everywhere when the story came out. Gothel, Primrose and Hazel tries to destroy the enchanted thicket with Primrose's powers due to Manea's blood in her but failed.However, if you are looking to try this book I would definitely recommend starting with Fairest of All and then working your way through them if you like that one, because otherwise you may be a bit confused by some of the references in this book!
