Fact, the show including intermission was over in two hours, which I can understand because the dancing must have been energy sapping, so if you appreciate Irish dancing then this show is for you (Flatley not missed). The sequence where the women, in a Bucks Fizz moment, strip off their cute dresses to dance in black bra and tights is bold and certainly not what you learnt aged seven. That November, Lord of the Dance expanded operations by forming several troupes of dancers which would tour North America and Europe. Beverley Knight will star as Grizabella, the role made famous by Elaine Page in the original production and more recently by Nicole Scherzinger. Lord of the Dance : Dangerous Games runs at the London Palladium from the 2nd of September to the 25th October. It was supposed to be the last time Flatley danced live on stage, but a different version of the show would later go on tour in 2000–01 (only one troupe appeared on this tour).
