About this deal

My experiment was a complete success, and I cannot tell you how excited I am to make these perfect biscuits on our next camping trip. Buying the Omnia Oven My first try was putting them in my savarin pan but it sits on the bottom and the base of the scones were slightly burnt, the rest of each one tasted great. Again, I could not wait to see how these muffins would turn out. Just like the biscuits, I was not disappointed! Perfectly baked, browned on the tops, warm and delicious. The burner also heats air that goes up the center of the baking pan and the lid serves to distribute that hot air over the top of the food.The instructions say to then turn the burner down to medium or lower. I found that I had better results if I left it on high just about a minute (to heat the air on top of the food) and then turned it down to slightly higher than medium. Yes, I have made several lots of scones since my roast potatoes post, not sure if they are drool worthy or not. All things considered, this oven is a really good investment. Like I mentioned earlier, having an Omnia oven with you really opens up a lot more cooking options. It makes for a great gift too if your friend/loved one already has a stove. With a camping Dutch oven, you have the ability to sear, sautee, steam as well as bake. It’s basically a heavy-duty cast iron pot and an oven all in one.The Omnia Oven is a means of you still having all of your favourite tasty treats without compromising on space.
