Even though I got really attached to the main characters they both annoyed me at times and I thought Huxley could be quite toxic at times especially at the end he turned on on Lottie so fast and immediately jumped down her throat, accusing her rather than approaching her with the issue and asking her about it. Then he tried to play the victim. Not cool! Ouch. Another mix of correct and not so much. I was an RWA member before stepping away in solidarity with diversity and representation in the romance writing community. I have yet to reinstate my membership.
