Designs for these strobes have evolved from the MS2000 form factor – which is comparatively bulky – to newer designs such as those used by the Manta and Hel-Star strobes. As explained earlier, chemlights come with expiration dates based on the date they were manufactured. With that being said, it is possible to extend their useful shelflife. Placeable versions of chemlights (with editable properties in the Eden editor) were not originally present at launch and were only included after Game Update 1.16 with the release of the free Zeus DLC.
