About this deal

Smart Magnetic Paint contains 50% magnetite which means it is a medium strength magnetic product. You can hold up 4 sheets of 80gsm A4 paper with one magnet. So you’re adding magnetic functionality to your surfaces. That’s great. Magnetic surfaces are a great way to project plan, create noticeboards and carry out lessons.

This post will help answer that question as we compare the magnetic paint products in our range and show you exactly which one is the strongest magnetic paint. How Strong Is Smart Magnetic Paint? The claim: chalkboard paint can easily create a message board or art display in practically any room. The truth: it really can, but you don’t need to use a specific chalkboard paint that may come in a limited palette of colors. Here’s the secret formula: for each cup of regular paint in any color, add in 2 tablespoons of unsanded tile grout and stir to break up clumps. Apply paint with a roller or sponge paintbrush, and use multiple coats for even coverage. After it dries, sand lightly with 150 grit sandpaper and wipe off dust. Rub the side of a piece of chalk over the entire thing, then wipe away chalk with a barely damp sponge. This product is applied in four coats and is stronger than our regular magnetic paint because it is made from a higher grade raw material. It is a similar consistency to a plaster which is why it is possible to add more magnetite content to this product compared to Smart Magnetic Paint. Most of us have seen those painted chalkboard and magnetic walls and thought, “maybe I should do that!” Well, here’s the lowdown on what works, what doesn’t, and how to get the effect you really want. Step 4 Write and Draw and take your collaboration to the next level using any normal whiteboard marker. Our award-winning Smart Whiteboard Paint comes with a ten-year performance guarantee.

Have you seen those tiny super-strong magnets? They work pretty well, but those are kind of scary for kids to use (easily swallowed). Don’t know if you saw the Grey’s Anatomy episode about the kid who ingested a handful of magnets, but it was NOT pretty. Anywho, my client ended up being able to use those very light word magnets found in those magnetic poetry kits – her daughter creates sentences and poems on the wall, but is unable to hang anything on it. Super Magnetic Paint can be topcoated with Smart Whiteboard Paint in White or Clear or any of our Dry Erase Wallcoverings range. You can topcoat your magnetic walls in any color you like. Step 2 Coverage - Ensure you have enough whiteboard paint to cover the area as stretching the paint will affect the whiteboard performance. You can topcoat Magnetic Plaster with any product from our dry erase range. So, there you have it. A complete guide to the strength of our magnetic paints. Now you can confidently create magnetic surfaces that are tailored to your personal needs. Step 3 Mix and apply - Mix part A and B of the paint together and stir well. Then with a new lint free roller or foam roller apply a genorous smooth coating by rolling over the surface multiple times with the roller to ensure the paint has covered well and there are no missed spots. After a section stop and inspect visually to ensure no missed spots.
