For War of the Bounty Hunters, the main story is told in the miniseries of the same name. Then, existing Star Wars Comics (Star Wars, Darth Vader, Star Wars: Bounty Hunters, and Doctor Aphra) and some one-shots tell side stories that relate to what’s happening in the main tale. Who is the UMBARAN? What is her role within the EMPIRE and in the WAR OF THE BOUNTY HUNTERS? And what happens when she emerges from the darkness to challenge Darth Vader himself? War of the Bounty Hunter also indulges in referential moments that come straight from superhero comics (or perhaps Avengers movies) that will hit like dopamine for Star Wars fans susceptible to #lore.
