About this deal

Plot-wise, I've never read anything like ORV and it's not your regular 'MC starts off as a weakling and eventually becomes ridiculously overpowered' kind of story. Mostly because Kim Dokja (MC) started out with a huge advantage because he was the only one who knew how the world would end. Compared to other powerful MCs, I think KDJ's characterisation had more depth and he was more fleshed out. He was strong but weak in certain ways too, he wasn't a perfect character that could do no wrong and I really liked that about him. En conclusión: si todo sale bien, ya debería estar en vacaciones de invierno de la facu. Therefore, todo mi tiempo libre lo voy a volcar en la lectura de Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint Volume 2. Mi hermosa pareja homosexual, voy por ustedes <3 The female characters in this book are absolutely amazing. They are not shallow. They don't suffer from The Bechdel Test - they pass it gloriously. Because this review is really extensive, I will add Plot, Basic Worldbuilding, Basic Characters, and 'Enjoyment Notes' in additional comments below. Cómo me gusta estar en vacaciones porque ahora me puedo dedicar a pleno a la lectura de esta joyita de historia.

Anyways after that heartbreaking section we get... squid!KDJ. The complete change of tone is so hilarious, it's so iconic (though the desperation of KDJC, especially SYS, hoping that the squid was KDJ, that hurt. This arc was the most emotional so far. While Yoo Joonghyuk pissed me off a bit towards the end, I really sympathized with Kim Dokja as he comes to some hard realizations about himself and the “characters” around him.

Fantasy ROMANCE ACTION ADVENTURE REINCARNATION COMEDY WEAKTOSTRONG HAREM TRANSMIGRATION ORDINARY NOCHEATS Setting: The novel’s setting is a fantasy world filled with diverse landscapes, magical realms, and various civilizations. Maybe this was the ugliest form of violence I could do against Yoo Sangah, who grew up in a well-off family. It was an arbitrary display of unhappiness forced onto someone who would never understand.Kim Dokja, once Demon King of Salvation, once Watcher of Light and Darkness, once Oldest Dream, is now simply Kim Dokja, 31 years old, unemployed. No more, no less.

Such a wide variety of characters is stunning... There are really few authors that can pull of such a feat and I have read 1000 books already, so this is saying something about the the level of writing. Without even thinking, Kim Dokja slips into his Work Mode to answer her. He angles himself to face her, twisting his body to draw attention to the lines of his slim waist and the jut of his hip, and flashes her his Idol Smile #3. It wasn’t the most popular, but it was the best novel for me.

Novel info

Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” follows Kim Dokja, a young man who suddenly finds himself trapped within the world of a novel he once read. The catch is that he possesses knowledge of the novel’s plotline and outcomes, essentially making him an omniscient observer of the unfolding events. As he navigates this newfound reality, he interacts with characters, faces dangerous challenges, and tries to influence the story’s course while dealing with the consequences of his actions. The lines between reality and fiction blur as he tries to determine his role in this world and the true nature of his existence.

The story has lost me. I barely know what's going on any more. Dokja is just as motivated to move forward as ever, but my motivation to read on is gone. He has gained allies, skills and abilities that will likely help in the future, but I don't care about him any more or about the many new characters - I do so love a huge cast (not). I'm getting pummeled by too many names and the RPG mechanics I hate most. This is not a light read any more. I'm sure Dokja will be fine. He made it this far, right? Usually I would read all the volumes and write one review but this is an absolute monster of a novel so I had to split them up by volumes. Note: I am reading the [Fan Translated] Epub version with the original names; This version is based off the original novel and not the revised version.Han Sooyoung gapes at him. The lollipop slips right out of her open mouth and clatters onto the dirt. Suni_Buddy Fandoms: 백작가의 망나니가 되었다 - 유려한 | Trash of the Count's Family - Yulyeohan, 전지적 독자 시점 - 싱숑 | Omniscient Reader - Sing-Shong It's Kim Dokja Company's first Christmas ever since Kim Dokja wakes up. They're excited to spend their time together with their beloved leader, but he is nowhere to be seen. I can't say I love it or hate it. I think it gave the book the most impactful ending, but also a depressing one because we never see the end. We have to imagine it, just like Dokja had to struggle to reach the conclusion he wanted. It's the best possible ending for a book so magnificent. And yet, so dissatisfying. Out of pettiness, I dropped the rating a little. I didn't read the ebook but the webtoon story up to episode 137 and certainly will continue reading it even while it feels like it's starting to get bogged down and dragging. That might be because the story is structured like a game and although the author clearly has a plan for the story arc and the character developments it's still going from one level to the next and to conceal that repeating cycle the next level has to be bigger and more dangerous and in the later chapters is also happens that random skills or coincidences are needed that can't easily be explained with the MC using his knowledge.
