About this deal

Any item returned must be complete with all accessories, hardware, manuals, or instructions, and in the same "new" condition as when it was when shipped to you. Please send us photos or videos of it. But it has an RCA line input though so you can use it as a standalone headphone amplifier to connect another source like a phono. All functions can be adjusted with the multifunction knob or the remote control and there are no other buttons. While the soundstage isn’t huge, it’s definitely not restricted in any way. It’s not especially wide but it has excellent depth and I can easily guestimate the relative position of musicians in relation to me. It reminds me somewhat of the Topping DX3 Pro Plus, with its precise imaging and clean instrument separation. Verdict

For a device this small, the SMSL C200 is quite versatile and offers a lot of input and output options. Not only can you use USB, but there are also optical and coaxial ports as well as Bluetooth. Speaking of which, you get Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity with SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX and LDAC codecs, which makes the C200 able to deliver great sound quality even without using the wires. You can select both the input and the output, though you can’t differentiate between balanced and unbalanced (and that’s reasonable).

Features & Specs

Digital glare does exist but it doesn’t get annoyingly intrusive and it doesn’t add a metallic timbre to the sound.

We listened to more songs than those named in this playlist, but those are excellent for identifying a sonic signature. I recommend trying most of the songs from this playlist, especially if you’re searching for new music! The playlists are different for Spotify, Tidal and Youtube, and based on the songs I enjoy and are available on each! The truth is that the SMSL C200 did an excellent job with all kinds of music and was very competent with classical but it could do a little better with timbre realism and harmonic intensity. With a power output of 1.3Wx2, it should have enough muscle to drive all but the most demanding headphones. Thanks to a near 0 Ω output impedance from the headphone section, the C200 is ideal for sensitive all-BA IEMs too. In addition, the headphone output has 2 gain settings: Low-gain 0dB and High-gain 11dB giving you more precise control over the output. Design USB INPUT Support Game console connection】: ♫ U1.1 mode: All USB devices can be connected without driver. It supports the connection the XBOX, PS4, PS5, etc. USB1.1 only supports up to 24bit/96kHz. ♫ U2.0 mode: USB2.0 needs driver with WIN system.
