About this deal

The phrase ‘value for money’ springs to mind. The boxed George when bought new has more than 15 separate attachments. There are very few vacuum cleaner manufacturers who can claim to include as much in a single product. Who is Best Suited to the George? There’s always a frugal member of the family and James is it. Bright blue in colour he’s efficient to run and offers a different approach to storage and attachments.

Unlike Charles, He comes with many more tools. He can also pump shampoo from his internal tank. The Carpet and Upholstery tools spray out the shampoo and extract at the same time. Giving your fabrics a deep clean with reduced drying times.

Wet Use - He also comes with a wet filter which has a float inside to cut off the suction when your dirty water tank gets too full. Charles also comes with a wet floor tool. This is ideal for cleaning up spillages on hard floors, or indeed drying them out. I have seen these being used in work places such as car garages. Cleaning up wet slippy floors to avoid hazards. It’s not even just about vacuuming. If you have a dog, then you have a dirty car. We can almost guarantee it. If you spend a lot of time outdoors then again, you are likely to be constantly scrubbing car seats. It might even be that you are not that active outdoors – but that you are exceedingly proud of your high-end car. Totally acceptable, as long as you can keep it spotless… and George lets you keep it as clean on the inside as you keep it on the outside.

George has a huge capacity and it’s easy to switch between dry and wet modes. Due to his capacity, it has to be said that George is fairly heavy, but thanks to his wheels he takes some of the weight when you’re moving him around. The larger than normal hose means you move him less than you would a traditional vacuum cleaner. For wet cleaning, the George has the Dual Scrub Floor Tool. This is the dual-sided brush we mentioned earlier, with the squeegee side providing excellent wet vacuuming performance. Other Tools and Accessories It might sound like a complex term regarding suction or energy efficiency, Numatic International are the manufacturers of the Henry. Incidentally, although known as Henry Hoovers, they aren’t Hoovers by brand.

When all is said and done, however, the emphasis on function over form is also some of the appeal. Spare parts are abundant and your local appliance engineer is unlikely to be put off by a repair job. The latest George is built from tried and tested components and will, in all likelihood, last for years to come.

Shampoo Feed - no... this model has no shampoo tank inside and will not pump shampoo. Not designed as an effective carpet and upholstery cleaning machine. We are not sure that there is anyone who wouldn’t be glad to have this tough, durable cleaner in their cupboard. That being said, there are those who will get the maximum use from it. People that live an outdoor, active lifestyle are likely to use the George vacuum cleaner five days a week to clean dirt out of their cars. Likewise, people with pets seem to love it for cleaning up little accidents…

George can be used on your curtains, in your vehicle, to clean your walls, windows and carpets. It can be used anywhere you want to remove ingrained dirt from material, and it has enough reach to stretch all the way around a small house – or outdoors, if needed. When shopping for a small home you have less mess – but less storage space. For this we suggest the Henry Micro, which will do a great job while fitting snugly into small spaces. What’s a Numatic Henry? The Henry range of vacuum cleaners tend to vary in dustbin capacity. The traditional models have 9L, while the wet and dry models have a 9L wet capacity but a 15L dry dirt capacity. Is it Bagless? He offers two useful features. The first is a dual purpose hairo-brush which is fantastic for scrubbing off stubborn pet hairs and other stains, the second is a carbon filter designed to combat unpleasant smells. The MicroFresh filter activated charcoal filter will minimise the bad smells your pets can create.

The Henry range have tremendous amounts of colour to them – but only one (very distinctive) style. If it has that big happy face, if the nose is the vacuum hose, and if it perpetually, moronically, and frustratingly never stops grinning? It’s a Henry. It’s been along time since Edward was made, fear not. Numatic now have the Henry XL who is exactly the same shape and size. Ideal form anyone who needs a larger capacity Henry. There are a variety of considerations to be made before you make your final choice from the Henry vacuum range. Things like colour, shape, and whether or not it can handle cleaning up after your dog are important! In terms of size, the George isn’t perhaps the most practical vacuum cleaner on the market. If you live in a tiny house with tiny cupboards, then storage might be an issue. It’s a little on the bulky side at 11kgs. If you are in poor health carrying it up and down stairs might be a no.The Henry with the most versatility is probably the George. It cleans your curtains, cushions, carpets, hard floors, your car, your drains, and probably everything else in your life. Beyond that, the Henry vacuum cleaner range has a pet hair model, a wet/dry model, and come in a variety of shapes and sizes. The range is versatile within itself. George is comfortably the most powerful vacuum cleaner from Numatic’s Henry Hoover range, and with great power comes great suction. George is more powerful than the rest of the Henry family because he needs the extra power when being used in wet cleaning mode, to allow him to clean effectively. George is that little bit more special than his brothers and sisters. He keeps your home clean and fresh from top to bottom. He can spruce up upholstery, easily remove trodden dirt and keep high traffic areas in tip-top condition. George is the multipurpose Henry… and that’s why he is so often chosen as a favourite from the range of Henry vacuums. Product Specifications Some people prefer the ability to wind the cable in and James allows you to do that. He also has a caddy in which he can nicely store away and attachments. A plugged cable means it is pretty easy to replace the mains cable.
