About this deal

At the outset of this series, we (Lucinda Riley fans) all assumed there would be seven books because there are seven sisters! Following on from the bestselling The Seven Sisters and The Storm Sister, The Shadow Sister is the third book in Lucinda Riley's spellbinding series of love and loss, inspired by the mythology of the Seven Sisters constellation. Unfortunately, as mentioned above, Lucinda Riley passed away in 2021 before the last book (Atlas: The Story Of Pa Salt) was finished. The first volume starts telling us about a billionaire, Pa Salt, who has recently passed away. This man had adopted seven girls, and after his death each of them received an envelope telling them about their origins. With this, each of the sisters will embark on a journey to know more about themselves and from where they belong.

In their quest, the sisters delve into a tale that spans nearly a century—a tale of love, resilience, and selflessness. Along the way, they discover the stories of other courageous women who risked everything to bring about transformative change in the world. As they unravel the secrets of their past, the sisters unearth a narrative filled with profound connections and the enduring power of family. Seven Sisters Book Eight: Atlas: The Story of Pa Salt The Seven Sisters is a historical fiction series by Lucinda Riley. This series covers the lives of six girls who grew up together while explaining what happened to the seventh of these sisters. The girls’ adoptive father raises them to be responsible, but upon his death, he also leaves them clues that help them trace their heritage. Each of the books in this series takes the reader on a journey to different parts of the world where the girls will discover their identities while revealing a part of their father they never knew. The author is an excellent storyteller making these books captivating. There is a lot of love and good in these girls’ stories, but they also come with their fair share of heartbreaks.

How to read the Seven Sisters Books in Order?

If you want to read them, you may be able to find used copies. Books By Lucinda Riley That Are No Longer In Print After waiting seven long books to find out the answers to some very compelling questions, readers certainly expected some sort of resolution in The Missing Sister. But, that didn’t happen! Boy, talk about keeping your readers guessing. Lucinda has done an excellent job of that. CeCe D’Aplièse has never felt she fitted in anywhere. Following the death of her father, the elusive billionaire Pa Salt – so-called by the six daughters he adopted from around the globe and named after the Seven Sisters star cluster – she finds herself at breaking point. Dropping out of art college, CeCe watches as Star, her beloved sister, distances herself to follow her new love, leaving her completely alone.

Maia D’Aplièse and her sisters come together at their secluded childhood castle on Lake Geneva, mourning the loss of their adoptive father, the enigmatic billionaire known as Pa Salt. Each sister receives a clue to uncover their true heritage. This leads Maia on a journey to a decaying mansion in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I tried so hard to find something to like about this book as it came highly recommended by a friend (I'm sorry Laura, I really tried!), but in the end I found it way too problematic: The Missing Sister – The six D’Aplièse sisters have each been on their own incredible journey to discover their heritage, but they still have one question left unanswered: who and where is the seventh sister? They only have one clue. The search to find the missing sister will take them across the globe – from New Zealand to Canada, England, France and Ireland – uniting them all in their mission to complete their family at last.Verdict: So what are you waiting for? Take a trip down to the tropical paradise- Brazil and the romantic city- Paris with Lucinda Riley's new book that unfolds the journey of a woman searching for her roots. Raffaella Productions, a Los Angeles-based production company, optioned the Seven Sisters rights in 2016.
