About this deal

I have to say, when the whole Hartley losing her memory thing came along at the beginning of this book, I was slightly annoyed. I really hate that trope and realized we were going to go through the whole book watching Hartley relearn what her life is. This meant, though, that we literally relearned everything from the previous book that we already knew. I wanted something new and not just a rehash of what I'd already read. New enemies for the Royals, old friends, Ella and Reed play a big part in this book too (I am so happy about this) and a new story line completely dedicated to Easton and his messes.

Ever since Hartley Wright met Easton Royal, her life hasn’t been the same. There are enemies behind every corner and dangers beyond each door. Everything felt two dimensional. Do you remember, in primary school - teachers or book lovers used to always quote how books let you escape into brand new places and how it builds a world around you?We got some mandatory Felicity drama. Again sort of doing the same to get rid of the mean girl as Ella did. Really don't get the Kyle thing. So Felicity set it up, and her parents just went with it? I understand that Kyle did it for money but don't understand why he punched her. Makes no sense at all. The book has such a sad vibe with Seb still in the hospital and Hartley without any idea of what happened. And poor Easton - he can't flirt or joke his way out of all the mess this time. Hartley and Easton together, though, completely swoon worthy. They could battle it out with the best of them but when they actually gave in to one another I think my Kindle was going to explode. We're talking sexual tension on ever single line and it had me at the edge of my seat.

Another book by Erin Watt is titled When it is real. It revolves around the story of a bad- boy rapper who hires a 17 year old girl to be his girlfriend just for show. It is also a thrilling love tale from Erin Watt and with the standard that The Royals has set, one can only imagine with great expectation what When It Is Real is all about. Easton. I know, I know. I loved him in PP. Maybe not as much as the other readers but I was interested to know what made him different from Reed and his other brothers. And I gotta say...he's OK. I sympathized with his issues and feel for him but other times, he annoys the crap out of me. Meagan: Hello! So strange request for you, but after your review I read.. No I DEVOURED Paper Princess! It was freaking amazing! It’s been so long since I read a book that was that incredible and I can’t stop thinking about it. I was so excited to read the second one, then I realized I have to wait till July Do you have any amazing recs that can fill my void till then? The more the better. And thank you for introducing me to this gem! So soo in love

Credits Season 1

Ella is not welcomed by Callum’s sons, Easton, Reed, Gildeon, Sebastian and Sawyer. At a party, Ella meets Valerie, the two become fast friends. As time passes, she ends up becoming closer to Easton, Who becomes her best friend and confides in him. Ella is enrolled at Astor Park Prep Academy, and discovers that Reed, the most popular student, has poisoned the class against her. Reed believes that Ella is sleeping with his father in exchange for money and a comfortable lifestyle. Callum is dating a woman named Brooke who is clearly a gold digger, which has colored Reed’s perception of Ella. Y luego está la chica que le pusieron a East, bastante odiosita aunque en este libro no me cayó tan mal se redimió un poquito ante mis ojos, aunque se fue bastante tonta al principio. I sympathized with him and felt so bad for him. I even related to him with some of his issues. But he annoyed me sometimes, and it hurt because I love him so much.

You know you’ve found an amazing read when you can’t put it down and immediately want to grab book two and then read the entire The Royals series. Cristina: Stayed up until 3am finishing this book the other night!! The CH is ridiculous!!! July seems like forever away!! Now I’m jonesing for another book just like it!! Complicate Me: The Good Ol’ Boys by by M. Robinson<— Robyn also recommends these! “The Good Ol Boys series by M Robinson is also along these lines. Very good.” I did like Hartley, but I never understood why she liked Easton. Maybe because we only get his POV most of the book (and the downward spiral he was on it would have been nice to maybe have a break from his POV) but I felt like we didn’t get to know Hartley. Especially since everything Easton did in regards to her seemed like a colossal mess up or a mistake. So I really wish we had gotten to know the girl a lot more, instead all we have is Easton’s slightly skewed perspective of her to go on.Chelli: Just started it!! It has a very Fallen Crest feel to it and I loved loved loved that series But if she's going to survive in the Royal palace, she'll need to start issuing her own Royal decrees . . . Ella’s helplessness comes to an end when she meets a billionaire while in a strip club. The mogul, Callum Royal, turns out to be a friend of her father’s, and he is willing to take Ella in as her guardian. This is literally a from- rugs- to- riches- transformation for Ella. She is practically snatched straight from the claws of poverty within a blink of an eye and taken to a castle. With Easton falling deeper and deeper into his self-destruction and Hartley struggling to fix her own problems and survive on her own, will their friendship and the possibility of something more survive or fall along with them?

Erin Watt once again dropped an explosive cliffhanger. I got goosebumps. Seriously, that one is INSANE. Then, we have to wait till January for the next one. THIS. MERCILESS. CLIFFHANGER. Now for the not-so-great part...I only have one issue, which is why I said I still enjoyed this book. But the main reason why I didn't outright loved Fallen Heir is that it's a little repetitive. I'm Easton Royal and my goal in life is to do what makes me happy. So long as no one gets hurt, it's all good. The problem is someone is always getting hurt. I just told you I don’t want the attention and you tried to kiss me in front of the whole school! But you don’t care what anyone else wants, right, Easton? Only what you want matters, because you’re a Royal, remember?” Erin Watt is the pseudonym under which two incredibly talented authors have written what has been described as the most captivating young adult romance fiction series of the century. The series, The Royals, has taken the world of young adult book lovers by storm, owing to its hypnotizing plot and the admirable development of its characters. One can only admire the work of these two exceptionally talented writers, but their fans can simply not wait for the series to be continued beyond the three books; for other characters in the series to share the limelight that Ella, the main character, has all to herself in the series. And it is amazing. Mostly it's amazingly heartbreaking. But it's also adorable and sweet and sad and moving and exciting and funny. Callum Royal finds and takes Ella to live with him and his five sons, he does this because he is her godfather. Steve, who was his best friend, realized that she was his daughter right before he died and left her to Callum. I hope there will be many more books in this series, because I always eat them up like pizza, chocolate and pop corn. First things first: do NOT come at me asking for spoilers or posting about them in the comments of this review. I will not answer any spoiler questions, and I will delete any comments giving away spoilers or asking for them. You’ve been warned! I loved Fallen Heir as a whole. Sure, I had issues with the pacing and the plotline but the ending did it all for me. I was so shookt and my world turned upside down after that. I need the next book NOW! *cries
