About this deal
There is a bolt on the side of the holder that can be done up easily with a spanner to keep the post firm in the spike.
There is no need to remove the existing concrete or to add more concrete when you are using these spikes. Note: Remember to ensure that you keep the post holder totally level as you drive it down into the ground – more on this below
Our selection of heavy-duty post shoes weighs between 2kg and 3.4kg. These are far superior to standard post shoes, making them best suited for heavy-duty applications. Some of our best-selling heavy-duty post shoes include 100mm x 100mm Heavy Duty Self-Colour Post Shoe Type 4, 100mm x 100mm Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Post Shoe Type 4 and 150mm x 150mm Heavy Duty Galvanised Post Shoe Type 4. These are bolt down post supports that will require four base fixings, such as M12 concrete anchors. Once the spike is driven into the ground, the driving tool can be removed and the post pushed into the holder.
You can do this using a mallet, protecting the spike using a piece of offcut timber on the top of the spike.
What Fixings do I use with a Bolt Down Fence Post Holder?
