About this deal

Not only that, but the AA Digital Air Compressor couldn’t be easier to use: simply pre-set the pressure you need (visible on the device’s display), then append the device to the tyre valve using the easy screw-stem fixing and the device will take care of the rest! You needn’t worry about over- or under-inflating – the AA Digital Air Compressor unit automatically stops inflating once the desired pressure has been reached. The tyre’s pressure is shown in a clear digital display on the device’s front, with readings in PSI, KPA and BAR. Don’t get us wrong, it’s far better to have the RCP C43L than no pump at all on board in your car, the unit is easy to use, with a three metre power cable to plug into your vehicles power outlet being long enough to reach each wheel for almost all cars. As with a lot of pumps above basic level, you also get a range of adaptors in the box too, great if you need to get some air into a football or paddling pool. We only ship to parts of the US, states include:California,Florida, Georgia, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Idaho, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maine, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin

A tyre with the incorrect pressure could reduce your car’s fuel efficiency by around three per cent, so it pays to get it right. You will also improve your car’s braking and handling performance. Timing is one to consider too whether it’s an analogue or digital tyre inflator. Some tyre inflators will fill a tyre from empty in four to five minutes, while others will complete the task in 90 seconds. And it’s worth having a cable long enough to fill the tyres in one go as well. However, it completed our 22psi - 32psi test in comfortably under two minutes (around 1 minute and 50 seconds), meaning that it doesn’t make inflating your tyres into too much more of a chore than it already is. Press the air compressor hose onto the valve stem and fill until the right PSI (as per your car’s manufacturer) is shown on the gauge. Larger inflators include rechargeable batteries, which make them completely portable. These are a better option if you want to pump up, say, bicycle tyres, without having to wheel the bike next to your car. You may also need a larger inflator for tyres that need higher-than-average pressures, such as a larger van or campervan. What about extras? The Oasser air compressor tyre inflator features an impressive 2200mAh lithium battery. Suppled with a USB charging cable, it takes approximately 4 hours to fully charge the battery.

On the downside, there is no bag or case to store the included adapters. Also, this Ring model does heat up after several minutes of operation, although this is fairly common with compressors. Lastly, the air cord is a little short. It could be dangerous to drive with the wrong tyre pressure as it can affect stopping distances and make a blow-out more likely. The Halfords model was one of the most compact devices we tested, meaning that it doesn’t take up precious boot space. However, it doesn’t come with a case, like the admittedly pricier Ring RTC1000, meaning that it’s vulnerable to getting scuffed by other things that you put into your boot. Thanks to its preset pressure function, you can adjust it to your desired levels and the unit will inflate and switch off on completion. It also has a handy memory feature that remembers the last programmed tyre pressure, reducing inflation time and making it faster and easier to get all four tyres up to the correct pressure levels. The flexible air hose with easy access storage compartment has been specifically designed to reduce kinks, always a bonus. With a large on/off button, the RTC300 is extremely user friendly and easy to use. One press to start the operation, one press to stop it. It has an LCD digital pressure gauge display with pre-set and auto-stop features which allows you to set your desired pressure and will automatically stop when that pressure has been reached. Like the Ring RTC1000, its designers have also thought of where to store your valve caps when you’re inflating, and have included a little stand.
