On the nose, fruity notes of peach, pineapple, grapefruit, clove and candied orange with a hint of vanilla waft through the whisky glass. There are a number of retailers offering delivery, depending upon your state’s laws. At a minimum, you’ll get a solid understanding of the range in pricing. Suntory recently announced they’ll be raising the price of Yamazaki 12 and a bunch of their other whiskies. So it’s only going to get worse. My advice is to find the best price you can and just go for it. Customers will get used to the higher prices. And higher prices mean higher profits for you. Look for other solid Japanese whiskies to fill in the lower price points. Mars Iwai Tradition for example.
