Description

As the story unfolds, Sephie discovers that she is destined to fulfill her namesake's role as Queen of the Underworld.

The sex scenes (between him, Aria, and whatshername) were like cc versions of porn hub (and a real turn off). Thrust into a world of power plays and dark politics, Sephie must find her footing in a reality far from the life she knew. This book like the second book was told from multiple characters POV it felt like the author wanted to make it like Black Dagger Brotherhood which it would’ve been great but unfortunately it came out messy I don’t know maybe with more editing and guidance this author will get better reviews. The story takes a turn as Sephie enters the underworld which is nothing like the world she lived on. In the underworld, Sephie has to navigate around her newfound destiny as she’s targeted by dangerous men.The storyline thickens as Sephie's routine existence is disrupted by Adrik, who reveals her true identity as Persephone, the destined Queen of the Underworld.

Sephie and the men she finds herself surrounded by find themselves on a path that has been paved over lifetimes. Sephie talks about Anthony, the drunken mafia son, with them, and their discussion continues until the latest paragraphs in King Of The Underworld Chapter 5. These novel key factors provide enough information for you to decide whether it's a suitable book for you or not.Dealing with mafias and their bosses is not easy, even though Sephie lives a fair and supportive life.

The writing fell short, the protagonist grated on my nerves, and the constant POV switches felt more like a desperate attempt to meet a word count than a deliberate narrative choice. In addition, Sephie is suppose to be this strong woman, but I feel like the reliance on a man in this scenario makes her weak. To be honest I skipped half of it because the repetition was so annoying and just ended up reading any dialogue spoken or bits and pieces that actually pertained to the development of the story.

I can’t believe it ended in a cliff hanger because now I’m definitely going to have to start the next book.
