Overall though, there’s just enough lotiony vanilla and coconut to make this pleasant when layered with another, less sweet, coconut body wash/lotion/perfume. Although Friction is not likely an expensive fragrance anywhere in the world, I could easily spend much less on a nice spray. A caveat: Friction also reminds me of my hawaiian tropic sunscreen, so that may ruin it for some people.

I must say I will leave this one for summer and as we have just come into winter don't think the cooler weather does this perfume justice. Which thankfully dissipates quite rapidly and quickly matures after an hour or so into a MATURE fragrance. If I huff my arm, I can still detect a little bit of fruit, but mostly, what remains is a satisfying coconut, and much later, a delicious vanilla. FCUK Friction for her is decidedly feminine with sweet coconut flesh, tropical flowers and fruits and hints of wood. I thought it'd be one of those super sweet summery fruity/coconut concoctions that I have too many of (but can't resist).

I was hoping for a beachy, suntan lotion kind of coconut, but what I'm getting is more a sugared synthetic gourmand.But I can see why people like it, as I would too if the male-smelling note wasn't bothering me in this composition. My favorite scents are sweet gourmands, and while this is a lovely, wearable perfume, it's not sweet. Love the way it goes on, with its blissful sweetness and creaminess and coconut and utter edibility. The coconut and vanilla mingle on my skin in such a way that pineapple is almost prevalent (probably the fault of red berries), giving it an unmistakeable odor of Banana Boat dark tanning spray.

Maybe this perfume is taking it self a little too seriously, holding back from being a coconut fruit cocktail bomb that screams 'pool party' but from reading the reviews I think that's maybe what people were hoping for. This reminds me of the classic BBW Coconut Lime Verbena sans the lime, with more creaminess from the coconut and vanilla. From the woody notes, the most prominent on me is the sandalwood, it addd depth to the fragrance and keeps it from being an a run-of-the-mill edible gourmand.And I do get a sense of suntan lotion, but it is pushed into the background by the cookie/candy nature of the coconut. There's a slight masculine edge to this that I find common in some of the more cheaply made fragrances. fcuk has specialized in the fashion retail sector, selling clothes, shoes, accessories and a small selection of beauty products for women and men. This also has similarities to the Harajuku Lovers Pop Electric G but that one has a very heavy woodsy note in it that takes over the entire perfume. I don't mind reapplying this either throughoit the day as it isn't beast mode but it's so cheap for a 100ml I don't mind.
