My son told me these are absolutely the most creepy cookie I've ever made. I'll take that as a WIN for the Halloween season. Combine the dry ingredients– In a separate bowl, combine the spooned & leveled all-purpose flour, the baking soda, and salt. This no-bake recipe is very simple, but there are a couple of things to bear in mind when making them. Get the Right Consistency. It’s customizable – A few fun changes and you can whip up variations for different flavors and holidays.

This is definitely the easiest variation. All you need are some fun seasonal sprinkles (I used these). Then once you dip the cookie balls in melted chocolate (use whichever color you’d like), immediately add the sprinkles on top. Make sure to act fast before it hardens! You can substitute white chocolate for the candy wafers in this recipe, although white chocolate is difficult to melt and can burn easily. Put the finished Oreos on wax or parchment paper to dry. Doing so will allow you to remove them easily. I’m a huge fan of easy no-bake desserts and Oreo balls are one of my absolute favorites. The rich cream cheese/Oreo mixture coated in chocolate tastes like absolute heaven. They’re the perfect bite-sized treat if you’re craving something sweet. Melt the white candy melts in 30 second intervals in the microwave. Continue until it is completely melted.

How can I get the perfect brownie slices?

Cream cheese: This gives these Halloween treats their creaminess, as well as acts as a binder to keep the cookie crumbs together. You can use colored candy melts or you can use white chocolate chips and use food coloring to color them. The easiest option is to buy candy melts in different colors. How do you make Halloween Dipped Oreos?

Once you dip the cookie, try to remove as much excess chocolate from the cookie as possible before adding the finishing touches. If you don’t, the excess chocolate will pool around the cookie. If you don’t have colored melting wafers, add 1/4 teaspoon of gel food coloring for every 3/4 cup of the wafer. Take the remaining Oreos and crush them into large pieces and gently press them on top of the cookie dough. My kids and I made these on a rainy afternoon and had so much fun. If your kids are like mine, they have a short attention span.

Oreo balls are one of my favorite treats to make, especially around the holidays. There are so many fun ways to decorate them…the options are endless! With Halloween right around the corner, I decided to make these fun Halloween cookie balls. I just loved how these crazy mummies turned out. They are my favorite. They make me smile. 🙂 I love their big eyes peeking through. Halloween Dipped Oreos are just about as fun as you can get when it comes to cute and creepy treats! The bright colors are so fun and festive. Press the googly eyes on each dot. Using the cream on the other side of the cookie as glue, press the two cookie halves on either side to create the wings, rounded end up. Crush. Crush Oreos, including filling, into a crumb-like texture. This can be done with a food processor or by putting the Oreos in a zip-top bag and crushing them with a kitchen mallet or rolling pin. These Oreo Bats literally can’t be any easier! Whether you’re looking for a fun and simple Halloween activity with the kids, a treat for your Halloween party, or a class Halloween activity, these Oreo Bats are your answer! Repeat the same melting process for the remaining two chocolates. Place the finished Oreos in the refrigerator and allow them to chill for at least 20 minutes. This will help set the chocolate. Scoop. Using a small cookie scoop, scoop out the dough and roll the Oreo mixture between your hands to form balls. Place them on the parchment lined cookie sheet. Freeze for 10-15 minutes or until they are slightly firm.

Top with candies –Take the remaining Oreos and crush them into large pieces and gently press them on top of the cookie dough. Gently press some M&M's on top of the cookie dough. Food coloring. Feel free to use food coloring to dye white chocolate and drizzle on top or to dip the cookie in. Melting chocolate wafers: The chocolate holds the balls together and gives the type of spooky treat its base color. With a butter knife, scrape half of the cream off the cookie. Divide that cream into two, and roll into two small balls. Gently flatten with your finger. These two rounds will become the white of the bat’s eyes. Prepare the oven and cookie sheets –Preheat the oven to 375ºF and line two cookie sheetswith parchment paper and set aside.
