Description

Heavy duty as a moisturizer but still is very emollient and sits well under makeup (give it a few minutes to absorb into the skin first though) Curious, I didn't use the emulsion at all last night or this morning. I did use one layer of the toner both PM and AM and the 2x barrier cream PM only. Glycerine: Widely used as a quality Hydrator (occurs naturally in skin and its chemical structure attracts water). You can find this ingredient in most good skin-replenishing products.

Cetearyl Alcohol : Emollient + Viscosity Controlling + Emulsifying + Surfactant/Cleansing + Emulsion Stabilising [non-drying alcohol]Delivery timescales are estimated and could be affected if your parcel is very heavy or delayed by Customs entry procedures. What’s special about this formulation is that it has a lower pH, similar to that of healthy skin, so it helps to strengthen the skin barrier. It’s also awesome to see that it’s free of potential irritants like fragrance, artificial color, and parabens. The Etude House SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream uses 93% naturally derived ingredients and as few ingredients as possible to balance, hydrate, and soothe skin. It has been tested to be non-comedogenic (doesn’t clog pores), and hypoallergenic.

If you have oily skin, I would suggest trying the Tatcha Water Cream that’s water-based and more lightweight ( review here). Is Soon Jung barrier cream good? I haven’t personally seen much of a difference, but that is expected as there aren’t any ingredients that specifically work to brighten or exfoliate the skin. They mostly have very good moisturizing properties and work a bit as anti-aging agents since moisturized skin is happy skin (dryness contributes to the aging process). My point here is that if your skin is doing relatively okay, the Etude House Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream moisturizer won’t do much other than.. well.. moisturize. Formulation: Cruelty-free, mineral oil-free, free of color additives, synthetic perfume, parabens, harsh alcohols, common allergens, silicones or sulfatesIt’s suited for irritated skin, sensitive skin, or ‘weak/fragile skin’, but I find even for normal skin/dry skin this is perfect! I mostly use this as a basic, regular moisturizer, and then for days that my skin is feeling more irritated or slightly sunburnt, I like to use the Dear, Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream (review here). Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream ingredients

Water, Propanediol, Pentaerythrityl Tetraethylhexanoate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Cetearyl Alcohol, Panthenol, Madecassoside, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, 1, 2-Hexanediol, Potassium Carbomer, Xanthan Gum, Butylene Glycol, Disodium Edta etudehouse.com Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil (Sunflower): Emollient (Softens and soothes and acts as a moisturizer) + Hydration (Fatty Acids) + Anti-inflammatory ( Linoleic acid)It is perfect to seal in your serums or actives, perfect to pair with acid treatments because this is so gentle and basic

The Soon Jung 2x Barrier Cream is one of the best go-to moisturizers I’ve ever tried (I have combo skin). It’s got a simple, clean ingredient list and is not irritating or comedogenic. How to use:After washing my face tonight I applied I'm From's mugwort essence to replace the soon jung toner and my skin literally looked so glowy and hydrated, after a few minutes the bumps on my forehead went away right before my eyes practically. I also prefer products with fewer ingredients, as logic would follow that the more ingredients a product has, the higher the chances of you reacting badly to one of these ingredients. I’m not saying that this cream is bad, chances are you will like this even if you have mildly sensitive skin, but again, chances are you’re better off trying something like the Balancing Gel by Pyunkang Yul, which constitutes 90% Astragalus Membranaceus Root Extract (Photoprotective, Anti-aging, and Wound Healing). Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (Green tea): Antioxidant (Polyphenol) + Anti-inflammatory (Polyphenol) + Antimicrobial (Catechins) Oil and water balance care with shea butter substance and oil complex leaves your skin hydrated and supple: I have a combination oily/acne-prone/normal skin, my T-zone is my oily area, and I saw no difference in oil balance. Oily skin can be caused by several factors, from genetic predisposition to your skin being very dehydrated (so it produces excess oil to compensate) and everything in between. So controlling how oily your skin depends on why it’s oily in the first place. Generally speaking, the Etude House Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream has some nice barrier soothing properties, but I wouldn’t bet too heavily on it controlling oil. The best it could do is help a bit, but that’s about it. Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter: Moisturizer + Anti-aging (Vitamin A) +Anti-fungal + Anti-inflammatory + Wound healing (Boosts collagen production and promotes cell regeneration)
