Description

There is a fluid motion to the system, comfortable footplates and gentle approach that is kinder on the body, without reducing the impact of the cardio work. This product is delivered to you FREE of charge (UK mainland and lower Scotland) using a specialist 2-man courier service to ensure that it reaches you in perfect condition and fully meets the delivery stipulations of the product warranty. With a little more stability and a better manual, it would do an even better job of appealing to all the less confident first-timers. Therefore, the VIAVITO cross trainer is easily recommended to those that just want to train in a safe, secure way with no thrills. You’ll get a decent spec and a bigger machine for your money compared to many home ellipticals in this ‘mid’ price range. A bigger frame and heavier build make a big difference to lower impact machines like this – where wobbles can be a hazard. Aesthetically Pleasing: We absolutely love the sleek, spaceship style design of this elliptical trainer. The accent red strokes reduce the monotone feel, but we love the uniformity of the overall design. This simplistic design makes it suitable for home and professional gym use.

Of the 20 programs advertised, 12 are pre-set. Things like intervals, cardio and fat burning. You can use this machine on manual mode, set your own interval type program or even use it in recovery mode. This cements the idea that this is for a more gentle pace and low-impact work, which may not suit all users. James: "I really like how smooth it feels when I use this trainer, it's a lot like the one I use at gym actually. It's pretty quiet too. I'd say it's good for the price you pay, but I prefer using heavier, industrial style professional gym machines- personal preference really."This is all achieved on a fitness machine that values the idea of low impact workouts. This is interesting for all those that are less able, or simply want to look after their joints a little better.

There are also pulse sensors on the fixed handlebars to measure the heart rate for a better idea of intensity and fitness. This adds to the general data for a better overview, which works well with those personal profiles. The VIAVITO SINA Elliptical Cross Trainer is a fairly standard cross trainer in many respects, with all the typical components. Where is really stands out is in the flexibility of the computer console. 12 pre-set, 8 other options, 4 separate users and the usual displays are all standard. If you supply your own heart-rate monitor, this will work with the computer console too. This includes 4 for heart rate control and additional options for body fat. There is also the benefit of 4 separate user profiles, so different members of the same household can make the most of their experience. Comfortable and Safe: The main winning feature, we'd say, about this cross trainer is how comfortable it is to use! The design features large, highly comfortable footplates as well as the option to alternate between fixed and moving handlebars- the former helping you work your core to the max while the latter helps give you a sweat-inducing, fat burning full body workout. There is an optional chest strap attachment for this machine too, if you prefer to use it.

Detailed Review of the Viavito Sina Elliptical Cross Trainer

As this is one of the less expensive models of elliptical trainers on the market, there are some downsides which befall. After prolonged use, we found that this trainer becomes slightly squeaky, which isn't much of an issue but it is an indicator of the difference in quality between this and a higher-end model of cross trainers. We also found that the calorie count can be slightly off sometimes, but we suggest you try keep your hands on the pulse sensors throughout your workout for maximum accuracy. The Final Verdict The only major negative came from someone unable to use the computer – pretty standard revenge / frustration one-star ranting… it is unclear whether this was an error with their machine, or whether they were luddites with fat fingers. Lets give them the benefit of the doubt, just this once! Overall, this is a pretty good home workout machine with a strong series of workout options that will lead to the right results. There is the 9kg flywheel with a series of magnetic resistance options, a 38cm stride length on the footplates for accessibility, an LCD display for the data, a series of workout options and the choice of fixed or moving handlebars.

Magnetic Resistance Technology: This trainer uses an innovative way of working, with 32 levels of AI controlled magnetic resistance! This machine is truly a show of the advancements in technology. Devon: "I'm more of an outdoor person when it comes to workouts actually, I'm not a fan of these gym machines. However, after using this, I'm definitely sweating as much as I do when I do my intensive outdoor regimes- phew! I quite like how it looks too, it's nice and sleek and compact. I'd personally not buy it because I'm just an outdoor-hike-jog type of guy, but I'd recommend it to my gym friends. They'd definitely like this one." Personalisable: We love how, compared to most other ellipticals on the market, this one allows you to store up to 4 user profiles, making it ideal for home use rather than commercial use. The benefit of using user profiles is the enhanced accuracy of workouts obtained by use of this machine. You’ll get a bigger unit than most home cross-trainers. This machine is 132cm x 55cm x 170cms. It weighs in at a solid 47kgs. This is bigger and more solid than most home ellipticals, though not the same size as those you’ll find in commercial gyms (which cost from 3x to 5x more). It doesn’t do anything particularly special, and that low-impact approach really does seem to be the key selling point. Yet, it does do most of the basics right and can appeal to a range of users. The biggest issue with this VIAVITO elliptical trainer appears to be in the assembly process and final build. There are many that put this together with few issues, because it isn’t that complicated with some patience and common sense. Cassie: "Wow, haha, that really get's you sweating, my gosh. I'd actually buy this for my home to be honest, it's compact compared to machines I've been in public gyms, and it's pretty silent too! It's a win for me. The only thing that sort of puts me off is the complicated assembly of it, I don't think I'd be able to do that myself, nor would my husband be bothered! But generally, yeah, this seems like a really nice machine to use and I'd be more than happy to train on this." Finally, please do note that we are unable to deliver this item to Northern Ireland and also all UK Islands. We’re sorry about this limitation, but in keeping with our high standards of service, we have as yet to find a carrier that can execute this in a consistently high-quality fashion. Buyers are drawn to the familiarity and the promise of a gentle, low impact approach, but is this what they actually receive?
